Job summary

Lesaka Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver onsite technical support, hardware installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and customer assistance across franchise and independent sites in the Western Cape. This hands‑on role requires travel and a customer‑focused approach to ensure high standards of deployment and service.

The successful candidate will report to the Field Services Manager, work across POS hardware, software, payment devices and networking equipment, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a field service, technical support, or installation environment.
• Experience installing and supporting POS Systems, Payment Devices, Receipt Printers, Barcode Scanners, Tablets, Mobile Devices, and Network Infrastructure.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver onsite technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Diagnose and resolve POS, payment device, networking, and peripheral faults.
• Perform hardware installations and deployments, including new store openings and upgrades.
• Provide end-user training and operational guidance after installations.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and communicate progress.
