Job summary

Crew Life at Sea Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our onboard team on a cruise vessel operating in South Africa. You will maintain mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, perform routine inspections, and record all maintenance work accurately.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.

Responsibilities

Assist in the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems onboard the cruise ship.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions and performing necessary repairs.
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working on board the vessel.
Communicate effectively with other crew members and supervisors.
Assist in maintaining inventory of spare parts and supplies.
