Crew Life at Sea Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our onboard team on a cruise vessel operating in South Africa. You will maintain mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, perform routine inspections, and record all maintenance work accurately.

Strong troubleshooting skills and teamwork are essential, as is the ability to read technical manuals and work in a physically demanding and potentially hazardous environment.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• - High school diploma or equivalent
• - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a maritime or industrial setting
• - Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
• - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• - Ability to work well in a team environment
• - Willingness to work in a physically demanding and potentially hazardous environment
• - Valid driver's license and ability to obtain necessary certifications and licenses as required
• - Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
