Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our client’s team in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. This role bridges HR and business units, driving strategic initiatives, talent management, employee relations, and organizational development to support a high-performance culture.

You will collaborate with leaders, guide performance management and succession planning, analyze HR data, and ensure compliance with South African labor laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist.
• Strong understanding of South African labor law and HR best practices.
• Experience in employee relations, talent development, and organizational design.
• Excellent influencing, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders to define and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Develop and implement talent management and succession planning programs.
• Support change management initiatives and ensure effective communication.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends and propose actionable solutions.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company HR policies.
