Job summary

Marvel Placement Consultants is seeking a Project Administrator – Mining for an on-site role in Balfour, Mpumalanga. You will provide administrative and coordination support to the Mine Manager and project team in a fast-paced mining operation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of mining project administration, strong Excel and Office skills, and prior experience supporting senior mining management on site.

Qualifications

• Requires a qualification in Project Administration, Business Administration, Office Administration, Project Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Project Administration experience within mining.
• Experience supporting Mine Manager or senior mining management is advantageous.
• Experience on a mine site or within mining operations is essential.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Mine Manager.
• Manage the Mine Manager's diary, meetings and site commitments.
• Coordinate meetings with agendas and documentation.
• Prepare meeting minutes and action lists and follow up.
• Coordinate communication among Mine Manager, project teams, contractors and stakeholders.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Maintain project registers, trackers and schedules.
• Assist with project reporting and management reports.
