You will design drilling fluid programs, ensure optimal fluid properties, manage inventory, and troubleshoot on the rig to support safe, efficient, and cost-effective drilling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in drilling fluids engineering with proven field operations.
• Extensive knowledge of drilling fluid chemistry, rheology, and solids control.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage drilling fluid programs for various well types and geological conditions.
• Supervise and train drilling fluids personnel on site, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Monitor drilling fluid properties and performance, making adjustments to optimize operations.
• Conduct root cause analysis for drilling-fluid related problems (lost circulation, wellbore instability, formation damage).
• Manage inventory and logistics for drilling fluid additives and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
