Placements24 is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Soweto, Gauteng facility. The role focuses on leading daily production, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time output of food and beverage products. On-site, hands-on leadership with a strong on-the-floor presence is essential.

You will mentor a production team, monitor lines, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement while upholding HACCP, GMP and hygiene standards in a fast-paced environment in Soweto.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in production supervision within F&B.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and GMP and hygiene standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site production environment.
• Experience with lean methods and continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily production activities, ensuring schedules and quality specs are met.
• Lead and mentor a production team, fostering a positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP and hygiene standards.
• Monitor lines/equipment and resolve issues promptly.
• Allocate resources (labor, materials) to meet targets.
• Drive continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
• Conduct team meetings, training, and performance reviews.
• Maintain production records and shift reports.
• Collaborate with QA, maintenance and logistics for smooth operations.
• Support high-quality food and beverage production at Soweto site.
