Placements24 is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for a food and beverage facility in Paarl, Western Cape. You will oversee daily production, ensure GMP/HACCP compliance, and lead a team to meet targets while maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.

You’ll monitor processes, train staff, manage equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement in a dynamic agricultural/industrial region. A hands‑on leader who fosters a positive, productive environment is ideal.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor in food/beverage manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP and food safety standards.
• Proven leadership and team-management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to work shifts in Paarl.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet targets.
• Monitor production processes and address deviations promptly.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene policies.
• Manage and motivate production operators with clear guidance and training.
• Oversee maintenance of production equipment and report malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate production records (output, waste, quality data).
• Enforce workplace safety procedures and collaborate with QA.
• Assist in scheduling runs and labor allocation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production.
