The position is on-site with opportunities for HR development and a supportive team environment, emphasizing safety and efficiency in farm management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; HR or agricultural qualification is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labour coordination, HR, or supervisory roles, preferably in agriculture.
• Strong understanding of labour management principles and South African labour laws.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency in record-keeping and basic HR administration.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a farm setting.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and onboard seasonal and permanent farm workers.
• Develop and manage work schedules, assigning tasks and supervising performance.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Provide training and ongoing support to farm labourers.
• Monitor worker productivity and address any performance issues.
• Manage accommodation and transportation for farm workers as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, wages, and other HR-related information.
