Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Farm Operations Coordinator to support the smooth running of agricultural activities in Pretoria. You will work closely with the farm manager to coordinate daily tasks, manage resources, and maintain accurate records.

• Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Management, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in farm operations or agricultural support roles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in record-keeping and basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Farm Manager in planning and scheduling daily farm activities, including planting, irrigation, and harvesting.
• Coordinate the allocation and utilization of farm labor, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain accurate records of crop progress, yield data, resource consumption, and expenses.
• Oversee the procurement of farm supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations on the farm premises.
• Communicate effectively with farm staff, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
