Placements24 is seeking a diligent Site and Civil Engineer to oversee construction projects on-site in Soweto. The role combines hands-on site management with civil engineering oversight to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to design specifications.

You will coordinate site operations, manage resources, and resolve technical challenges in real-time, contributing to project success and community development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of site engineering and civil construction supervision experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for site coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily construction activities on site, ensuring adherence to project plans.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site labor for smooth project execution.
• Monitor earthworks, drainage, and basic structural elements on site.
