Job summary

Qualifications

• National Diploma, Advanced Certificate, or bachelor’s degree in financial accounting, Accounting, Management Accounting, or Commerce (NQF Level 6 or higher).
• Knowledge of the OC Bookkeeper modules (South African Taxation, Cost Accounting, Financial Accounting, Payroll).
• Teaching or facilitation experience relevant to Senior Bookkeeper, Financial Accountant, Cost Accounting or Tax Practitioner.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Knowledge and Practical Modules of the QCTO Occupational Certificate Bookkeeper
• Provide support to students in Knowledge and Practical aspects of the qualification
• Set up, monitor and maintain student portfolios
• Conduct Summative Knowledge Assessments including Formative Activities and Summative Tests
• Conduct practical Assessments
• Conduct an introductory meeting at each workplace
• Conduct all aspects of assessment (e.g., setting assessments, marking, moderation, and evaluations)
• Oversee and evaluate student logbooks
• General administration relevant to delivery of an academic programme
• WPBL: Participate in Workplace exposure activities relevant to the programme
