Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Pediatric Nanny and Early Learning Facilitator for a discerning family in George, Western Cape. This role focuses on nurturing two young children (ages 2 and 4) with a blend of childcare and educational activities in a private home.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of child development, strong planning skills for age-appropriate activities, and a professional, discreet demeanor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a nanny or in a similar childcare role.
• Demonstrable experience in early childhood education or a related field.
• First Aid and CPR certification are mandatory.
• Valid driver''s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a genuine passion for childcare.
• Willingness to relocate or reside within reasonable commuting distance to George, Western Cape.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and loving care for two young children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional support.
• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational activities, games, and outings to stimulate cognitive, social, and physical development.
• Oversee daily routines, including meals, naps, hygiene, and bath times, adhering to established schedules.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children, accommodating any dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Create a stimulating and organized play and learning environment, ensuring toys and materials are safe and accessible.
• Accompany children on outings to parks, educational centers, and extracurricular activities as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
• Maintain a clean and tidy environment for the children, including their rooms and play areas.
• Foster positive behavior, social skills, and a love for learning through patient guidance and positive reinforcement.
