Placements24 in George, Western Cape, is seeking a knowledgeable Nanny and Early Learning Specialist to provide loving, professional childcare in a family home. You will establish daily routines, support learning through play, and safeguard the child's well-being in a nurturing environment.

The role requires at least three years’ nanny experience, a First Aid and CPR certificate, and excellent communication with parents.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Nanny or in a similar childcare role.
• Strong knowledge of child development stages and early learning principles.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A patient, gentle, reliable, and responsible attitude.
• Ability to establish and follow a consistent daily routine.
• Must be trustworthy and discreet, with verifiable references.
• Background checks will be conducted.
• Familiarity with local resources in George for child development and education is a plus.
• Must be legally permitted to work in South Africa.

Responsabilidades

• Provide attentive and safe childcare, adhering to best practices in child development.
• Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational activities and learning experiences.
• Oversee daily routines, including feeding, naps, hygiene, and personal care.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks.
• Encourage the child's development through interactive play, reading, and creative exploration.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and child-friendly environment.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents about the child's progress and daily activities.
• Plan and supervise outings to parks, libraries, and other enriching locations.
• Administer basic first aid as needed and ensure the child's safety at all times.
