Job summary

Placements24 in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, seeks an experienced Early Years Educator & Nanny to care for two young children aged 2 and 4 in a family home. This full-time role focuses on nurturing development, structured routines, and engaging learning activities.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of professional experience, qualifications in early childhood development, and up-to-date First Aid/CPR. You will collaborate with the parents to support healthy growth and daily well-being.

Qualifications

• Min 4 years of professional Early Years Educator or nanny experience with toddlers and preschoolers.
• Qualifications in Early Childhood Development are essential.
• Strong understanding of child development theories and practice.
• Ability to design and implement engaging learning activities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Patient, nurturing, energetic, and reliable.
• Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification.
• Provide excellent childcare references.
• Must be legally eligible to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Provide loving and attentive care for two young children.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities.
• Manage daily routines including feeding, napping, and hygiene.
• Ensure a safe indoor and outdoor play environment.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks.
• Maintain cleanliness of play areas and personal items.
• Foster social skills, emotional regulation, and independence.
