Placements24 Family seeks a Full-Time Childminder and Educational Assistant in Stellenbosch to care for two children aged 4 and 7. The role blends nurturing care with structured learning activities to support early development.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in childcare, background in early childhood education, and fluency in English and Afrikaans. A driving license and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred, with opportunities for growth within a supportive family setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience (nanny, childminder, teacher's assistant).
• Demonstrated experience in educational support for primary school-aged children.
• Background in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a strong advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of child development stages and best practices in childcare.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
• Clean criminal record and valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with parents about the children's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
• Ensure children adhere to house rules and develop positive social behaviors.
