Job summary

Qualifications

• Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• Basic Diploma/Degree that allows registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse.
• Minimum 8 years nursing experience after registration as a Professional Nurse with SANC.
• Diploma or Degree in Health Service Management/Nursing Administration or Management.
• At least 3 years of management level experience in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Delegate, supervise and coordinate provision of patient care.
• Monitor allocation and utilization of resources across departments.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulatory frameworks (IHRM, OHSC).
• Support staff on clinical and non-clinical matters; engage in problem-solving/conflict management.
• Maintain data governance and monitor performance indicators.
