Qualifications

• Must be registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse and Midwife.
• Minimum of 10 years’ nursing experience post-registration in General Nursing.
• At least 6 years in Child Nursing after completing a 1-year post-basic qualification.

Responsibilities

• Delegate, supervise and coordinate pediatric care per guidelines and policies.
• Monitor priority programs (EMTCT, MBFI, IMCI, EPI).
• Ensure infection prevention, control and safety standards.
• Lead and develop staff, manage resources, and foster multi-disciplinary collaboration.
