Requirements include a post basic qualification in Health Services Management/Nursing Administration, seven years’ nursing experience after registration, and current SANC registration.

Qualifications

• Must hold a basic R425 qualification and be registered with SANC as a Professional Nurse.
• Post basic qualification in Health Services Management/Nursing Administration registered with SANC.
• Minimum seven (7) years of nursing experience after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing.
• Current registration with SANC for 2026.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate nursing care within the scope of practice.
• Manage resources within the unit and uphold nursing standards.
• Compile and analyze reports to improve patient care.
• Be allocated to night shifts, weekends, public holidays, and relieve the supervisor when required.
• Implement the Ideal Hospital Realization and Maintenance Framework.
