Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Non-profit Program Director to lead and advance the organization’s remote programs from anywhere in South Africa. You will drive strategic oversight, development, and execution of all initiatives to deliver impact for beneficiaries and communities.

You will guide program teams, foster innovation, and ensure efficient delivery of services while maintaining strong relationships with partners and funders.

Qualifications

About the Role

Our client, a highly regarded non-profit organization with a broad national reach, is searching for an experienced and visionary Non-profit Program Director to lead their impactful initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for all organizational programs and initiatives.
• Develop and implement comprehensive program strategies that align with the organization's mission and goals.
• Oversee program design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation to ensure effectiveness and impact.
• Manage program budgets, resources, and operational logistics efficiently.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of program managers and staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Public Administration, Non-profit Management, Social Sciences, or a related field. A PhD is a plus.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive leadership experience in the non-profit sector, with a strong track record in program development and management.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, operational management, and financial oversight of complex programs.
• Exceptional leadership, team-building, and people management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated success in grant writing, fundraising, and cultivating donor relationships.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
