Essential qualifications include Grade 12 and a Transport Management or Logistics degree/diploma, with 2 years in a distribution/logistics environment being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• Transport Management or Supply-Chain / Logistics degree or diploma.
• 2 years relevant distribution/logistics experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Optimize route and space planning to meet daily objectives.
• Coordinate stock leaving distribution centre and deliveries to stores.
• Route vehicles to maximize utilisation and reduce turnaround times.
• Ensure next-day delivery to local stores and 48-hour delivery to Coastal stores.
• Monitor fleet costs and diesel consumption; maintain vehicle records; supervise returns and daily checks.
