Job summary

Auto & Truck Tyres is seeking an experienced Night Shift Operations Supervisor to lead the 88C JHB night shift. You will oversee night staff, manage cargo routing for daytime distribution, and ensure safety, productivity, and smooth handovers to day shift.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or diploma in business/operations, proven supervisory experience, and the ability to work overnight with strong leadership and decision-making skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Ability to work overnight and flexible hours.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of operational procedures and workforce management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.

• Train and mentor new employees when required.
• Monitor inventory, equipment, and facility security during the shift.
• Respond to emergencies or unexpected operational challenges.

2. MANAGE & OVER SEE OPERATIONS & STAFF DURING NIGHT SHIFT
3. MANAGE, ROUTE, PREP AND PLAN ALL CARGO RECEIVED DURING THE DAY FOR DISTRIBUTION
4. PRE ALERTING BRANCHES OF INCOMING CARGO
5. LOADING AND DISPATCHING ALL CARGO AT NIGHT
