Job summary

Indgro Outsourcing (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Night Shift Operations Administrator and Controller in Durban to manage cargo receiving, stock control and inventory accuracy during the night shift.

The role requires 5+ years as a Tally Clerk or in related warehousing/logistics environments, with strong WMS/FMS knowledge and MS Office proficiency. Night shift, weekends and public holidays may apply. Reliable transport is preferred.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) is required.
• Proven knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Freight Management Systems (FMS).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Tally Clerk role or within warehousing/logistics receiving.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound cargo and process GRN; capture stock on WMS/FMS.
• Print and label stock; ensure correct identification per procedures.
• Monitor for damaged stock and report discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate stock control and organize cargo within warehouse.
• Return surplus consumables to designated storage area at shift end.
• Support housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Assist with incident investigations and safety inspections.
• Identify and report operational, warehouse and quality non-conformances.
• Provide Tally Clerk support during staff shortages or high volumes.
• Investigate and resolve file, tally and stock discrepancies.
