Job summary

Amrod in Woodmead is seeking an Applicator/Domer (Night Shift) to ensure that high-quality print output is produced with precision and consistency. The role requires operating doming and heat press machines, maintaining equipment to SOPs, and meeting strict quality targets.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years’ experience in a similar role, strong English communication, and a willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• 2–4 years’ experience in a similar position and/or environment.
• Computer literacy skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Vast knowledge of digital printing.
• Problem solving and conflict resolution.
• Good work ethic.
• Must be prepared to work overtime / weekends / shifts in accordance with operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate doming and heat press machines.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the machines.
• Troubleshoot printing issues.
• Maintain equipment within strict training and follow standard SOPs.
• Regularly check, improve and maintain set quality standards.
• Maintain production rates according to defined targets and deadlines.
• Assist in other positions and/or departments in accordance with operational requirements.
• Adhere to strict safety precautions.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards.
