Job summary

Fidelity Services Group in Parow, Western Cape, is seeking a cash centre clerk to ensure deposits are processed as per contractual agreements. Reporting to the Cash Centre Manager, the role focuses on accurate balancing, cash handling, and daily operational tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a clear criminal record, Grade 12, computer literacy, and at least two years in a cash centre or similar role. Night shifts and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: clear criminal record; Grade 12 or equivalent; computer literate; at least 2 years' cash centre experience or similar role; treasury balancing experience is an advantage; clear disciplinary record; able to work under pressure; able to work at night; able to address and resolve challenges accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Collect bulk cash from and return to vaults
• Treasury balancing
• Float checks
• Daily stock submissions
• Monthly stock orders
• Daily operations meetings
• Daily sorting of fit and unfit notes
• Packing of ATMs
• Dealing with client queries
• General administration duties
