Job summary

The Talent Room seeks an experienced New Vehicle Sales Manager in Gauteng to lead the dealership's New Vehicle Sales Department. You will drive monthly and annual targets and ensure high customer satisfaction while maximizing profitability.

You will manage a 100–120 unit/month volume and coach a team of sales executives, implementing effective sales strategies and ensuring robust lead management and reporting.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 is required.
• Valid Driver's Licence.
• Experience as a New Vehicle Sales Manager in a motor dealership.

• Manage and lead the New Vehicle Sales Department.
• Drive the achievement of monthly and annual vehicle sales targets.
• Manage a sales volume of approximately 100-120 units per month.
• Lead, motivate, coach and develop a team of Vehicle Sales Executives.
• Monitor individual and departmental sales performance.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximise vehicle sales and profitability.
• Ensure effective lead management and follow-up processes.
• Monitor stock levels, vehicle ageing and model mix.
• Ensure vehicles are correctly presented, priced and marketed.
• Monitor gross profit and departmental profitability.
• Manage customer relationships and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards and relevant legislation.

Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Valid Driver's Licence.
• Previous experience as a New Vehicle Sales Manager within a motor dealership.
• Proven track record of managing a high-volume sales operation.
• Experience managing approximately 100-120 units per month will be highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of dealership sales processes and vehicle finance.
• Proven ability to manage, motivate and develop a sales team.
• Strong understanding of vehicle gross profit, targets and sales performance.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong administrative and reporting abilities.
