Job summary

Dante Personnel East Rand is seeking a results-driven B2B sales professional with proven experience in logistics and freight to drive new business development in Gauteng. You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and build strong client relationships.

You will identify key decision-makers, tailor logistics solutions, prepare quotations, and collaborate with internal teams. A Matric/Grade 12 is required, with a track record of hitting targets and a network of logistics

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 certificate.
• 35 years proven B2B sales and new business development experience.
• Experience in logistics, courier, freight or related industry preferred.
• Proven track record of acquiring and developing new business.
• Ability to meet sales targets with documented examples.
• Existing B2B client network advantageous.
• Identify decision-makers and open new business opportunities.
• Experience managing full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Strong understanding of customer requirements and logistics solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams on solutions, quotations and pricing.

Job description

Minimum requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12 certificate 35 years proven B2B sales and new business development experience, preferably within the logistics, courier, freight, or related industry
• Previous experience in international logistics, international courier, parcel distribution, cross-border/SADC distribution, freight, e-commerce logistics, or a similar industry
• Proven track record of acquiring and developing new business
• Must be able to provide clear examples of previous sales targets achieved and new business secured
• Existing and relevant B2B client network or industry contacts will be highly advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to identify and approach key decision-makers and open new business opportunities
• Experience managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and initial contact through to closing and client relationship management
• Strong understanding of customer requirements and the ability to identify suitable logistics solutions
• Experience working with internal teams to develop client solutions, quotations, and pricing proposals
• Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and closing skills
• Commercially minded, with an understanding of profitable and sustainable business development
• Target-driven, ambitious, self-motivated, and results-oriented
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams
