Hired Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is looking for an experienced network support technician based in Cape Town, South Africa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructure while diagnosing any connectivity issues that arise.

With 3+ years of experience in network administration, you should have strong knowledge of TCP/IP and related technologies. This role requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide technical support to clients efficiently.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in network support or network administration.
• Experience with TCP/IP, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
• Valid driver's licence and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on network equipment.
• Monitor network performance and security.
• Install and support routers, switches, and wireless networks.
• Assist with CCTV and surveillance network infrastructure.

• Experience with TCP/IP, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
• Knowledge of Mikrotik, Ubiquiti, Cisco, or similar technologies advantageous.
• Valid driver's licence and own transport.
