Placements24 is seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Technician to install, configure, and maintain network hardware across sites in Kimberley, Northern Cape. You will handle routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, and ensure reliable connectivity and security.

We value proactive technicians with strong troubleshooting skills, who can document configurations, monitor performance, and pursue relevant certifications such as Network+. CCNA.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Network Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and hardware.
• Proficiency with network diagnostic tools (ping, traceroute, Wireshark).
• Experience with network cabling standards and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA) are a plus.

Responsibilities
