Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client, a leading telecommunications and IT solutions provider, is seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Technician to support their operations in Benoni, Gauteng . This hybrid role involves both on-site installation and maintenance of network hardware, as well as remote monitoring and support. You will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling infrastructure across various client locations. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and security principles. Key Responsibilities

• Proficiency in network cabling standards and termination techniques (e.g., Cat5e, Cat6).
• Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work model in Benoni, Gauteng .
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on-site visits.
