Job summary

MyCareerCraft in Richards Bay seeks a National Operations Executive to run operations across filling stations, franchised QSRs and supermarkets, driving profitability and delivering the group's long-term strategic roadmap.

You will lead multi-site operations, manage budgets and brand standards, develop and coach regional teams, ensure compliance with labour and IR requirements, and travel frequently to optimise performance.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Retail, Operations or related field.
• Senior management experience in FMCG, Retail, Fuel or QSR with multi-site leadership.
• Strong financial acumen: budgets, GP margins and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel/Sheets and BI skills; SQL is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of SA labour legislation and IR processes.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review the Group Strategy and identify growth and expansion opportunities.
• Oversee day-to-day operations across all sites, including stock control and SOP implementation.
• Drive compliance with franchise standards, brand health and safety requirements.
• Manage budgets, review performance regularly and act on underperforming sites.
• Build strong relationships with franchisees, suppliers and customers.
• Lead, coach and develop teams, ensuring legal and IR compliance.

• Senior management experience in FMCG, Retail, Fuel or QSR, including multi-site and regional team leadership
• Strong financial acumen: budgets, GP margins and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel/Sheets and BI skills; SQL is advantageous
• Working knowledge of South African labour legislation and IR processes
• Valid driver's licence, reliable own transport and willingness to travel frequently
• Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills, with a results-driven and customer-focused approach
