Job summary

Spane4all in Potchefstroom, North West, is seeking a PQ Test Technician Intern (Ref.-Nr.: ZA00809). This full-time internship offers practical exposure to testing and evaluation of munitions, including static, Insensitive Munition and environmental tests with emphasis on safety and data collection.

You will assist in test preparation, calibration, reporting, and material procurement, gaining experience with specialized equipment and measurement systems; strong communication and planning skills

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering required.
• Computer literacy with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of measurement systems (oscilloscopes, vibration, temperature, pressure, velocity).
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and execution of Environmental Test.
• Assist with preparation and execution of Insensitive Munition Test.
• Assist with investigation and experimental test.
• Assist with Lot Acceptance and Qualification Test.
• Calibrate electrical/electronic instruments.
• Conduct first line maintenance.
• Install, troubleshoot and repair testing/programmable equipment.
• Program and configure testing range instruments.
• Evaluate, analyse, interpret and generate test reports.
• Procure test materials and consumables.
• Maintain good housekeeping of workshops and test facilities.
