Job summary

AFMS Group (Pty) Ltd seeks a reliable maintenance technician for our Mitchells Plain site. You will handle building fabric maintenance, plumbing and electrical first line maintenance, and general facility upkeep, with attention to health and safety compliance.

You will inspect facilities, perform routine repairs, log calls at the helpdesk, and support on-site with multi-skilled tasks. A Grade 12 and Code B licence are required, with English/Afrikaans proficiency.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Maintenance experience in built environment preferred.
• Proficiency in English and Afrikaans.
• Code B driver’s licence required.

Responsibilities

• Perform building fabric maintenance, carpentry, and basic repairs.
• Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Log repairs and feedback with helpdesk and communicate with FM.
• Maintain tools and housekeeping within the site.
