Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Respond to and resolve maintenance requests and emergency repairs in a timely manner.
• Conduct general repairs such as carpentry, painting, and minor structural fixes.
• Maintain the grounds and common areas to ensure a safe and presentable environment.
• Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment and fixtures.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and building codes.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and material usage.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a versatile and experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team in Mahikeng. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of all building systems and equipment. You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical repairs, HVAC system checks, and general building upkeep. This position requires a broad range of technical skills and the ability to respond effectively to maintenance requests. While primarily site-based, there may be opportunities for remote contribution to maintenance planning and reporting.
