Job summary

AFMS Group is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician in the Western Cape to perform minor repairs and routine facility maintenance. You will handle building fabric, plumbing, electrical tasks, and ad-hoc duties on site.

Requirements include Grade 12, at least 2 years in built-environment maintenance, English/Afrikaans fluency, and a Code B driver’s license. A proactive, team-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Min 2 years maintenance experience in built environment
• Good comprehension of English/Afrikaans
• Code B Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Assist in corrective, planned and preventative maintenance.
• Repairs to building fabric, carpentry and joinery; locks, handles and hinges.
• Repairs to office furniture and cabinets; painting and routine building upkeep.
• Maintain tools/equipment; log defects and reports; daily site inspections.
