Job summary

Kontak Recruitment is seeking a Multimedia Designer / Content Producer in Cape Town to own graphic design and asset production across social media, campaigns, email, ecommerce, POS and packaging.

The role requires 3+ years in graphic design, proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, and experience creating content for EU/US markets. Hybrid work with one work-from-home day weekly is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in graphic design, fine arts, communications or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of graphic design or creative production experience.
• Experience creating content for EU and/or US B2C markets.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro).
• Experience with brand asset management and version control.
• Portfolio demonstrating design range and quality.
• Experience with video production or photography direction.
• Familiarity with AI image-generation tools.
• A love of cats and dogs and interest in pet health and nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Create graphic assets across social media, campaigns, email, POS, packaging, exhibitions and landing pages.
• Manage the asset library, including structure, naming conventions, tagging, approvals and version control.
• Manage POS and packaging production, including artwork, templates, print suppliers, deadlines and quality control.
• Project manage photography and video shoots, including shot lists, logistics, post-production and asset delivery.
• Coordinate exhibition visual assets and materials with PR and Communications.
• Use AI for design ideation, image generation, asset variations and production efficiencies.
• Manage and develop the Junior Creative Content Producer.

An international group of premium pet nutrition, raw feeding and natural pet wellness brands is building a Cape Town ecommerce and marketing team supporting multiple B2C brands across international markets.

The Multimedia Designer / Content Producer will own graphic design and asset production across social media, campaigns, email, ecommerce, POS, packaging, exhibitions, photography and video.

Location: Cape Town (1 work-from-home day per week).

Salary: R35 000 – R45 000 CTC per month (experience dependent).

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in graphic design, fine arts, communications or equivalent experience


• 3+ years of graphic design or creative production experience


• Previous experience creating content for EU and/or US B2C consumer markets is essential


• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro


• Experience with brand asset management and version control


• Portfolio demonstrating design range and quality


• Experience with video production or photography direction


• Demonstrable experience or openness to using AI image-generation tools
