Job summary

Confidential Careers seeks a Senior Content Producer in Cape Town to lead hands-on video, design and photography across our brand. You will shoot, edit and design high-quality content, ensuring consistency with brand standards and editorial direction from the Marketing Director.

You will produce leadership features, interview content, internal campaigns and social-friendly edits, while managing equipment and production workflows across Cape Town sites. A strong showreel is essential.

Qualifications

• Portfolio or showreel is required with application.
• Advanced video editing capability in Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent.
• Advanced graphic design in Adobe Creative Cloud; working proficiency in Canva.
• Confident camera operation with ability to plan and run shoots independently (lighting, audio, directing subjects).
• Experience directing non-professional subjects on camera and putting them at ease.
• Strong presentation and layout design skills.
• Photography capability across event, portrait and corporate contexts.
• Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines independently.
• Proven ability to work with limited daily supervision; manager may be at another site.
• Willingness to work across both Cape Town sites; flexibility for occasional event work outside hours.

This is a senior, hands-on creative role for someone who shoots, edits and designs at a high standard and takes real pride in the finish. Working to creative and editorial direction from the Marketing Director, you produce the video, design and photographic content that carries our brand and culture across more than 2,000 team members at our Cape Town sites.

You are not managing an agency. You are the studio — and you are trusted with the craft.

Responsibilities:

Video production

• Film, light, record audio, edit and deliver video content to a consistently high standard
• Produce leadership features and interview content against provided scripts and question sets
• Produce team member storytelling, campaign films and event content
• Produce short-form edits adapted for social and internal channels
• Produce our internal podcast series, including recording, editing and audio finishing
• Set up, operate and maintain camera, lighting and audio equipment independently

Design

• Design posters, digital signage, social graphics, newsletters, infographics and campaign assets
• Develop campaign identities and build reusable branded templates
• Design event branding, onsite signage and wayfinding
• Produce recognition and certificate assets
• Design and build presentation material for leadership, ManCom and global communications sessions
• Convert supplied data and content into clear, well-designed slides
• Maintain presentation templates

Digital signage

• Design and schedule content across the display screen estate at both Cape Town sites
• Keep recurring content current and monitor that displays are performing correctly

Photography

• Event, campaign and team member photography

Learning and development content

• Record and edit instructional content and produce supporting graphics

Production standards and systems

• Maintain the asset library, including version control, master files, archiving and retrieval
• Establish and document repeatable production processes and templates
• Manage and care for production equipment
• Maintain consistent production quality and correct application of the company brand standards.

Required qualifications:

• Relevant experience in Media, Film, Video Production, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing or a related field
• 4–6 years' experience in content production, video production or multimedia design
• A portfolio or showreel is required with application
• Advanced video editing capability in Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent
• Advanced graphic design capability in Adobe Creative Cloud, and working proficiency in Canva
• Confident camera operation, including the ability to plan and run a shoot independently — lighting, clean audio, and directing subjects
• Demonstrable experience directing non-professional subjects on camera and putting them at ease
• Strong presentation and layout design skills
• Photography capability across event, portrait and corporate contexts
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines independently
• Proven ability to work with limited daily supervision, with a manager based at another site
• Willingness to work across both Cape Town sites, and flexibility for occasional event work outside standard hours

Preferred qualifications / experience:

• Motion graphics and animation capability
• Experience producing podcast or episodic video content
• Experience with digital signage platforms
• Experience using AI tools within a production workflow — editing, asset generation, transcription or post-production
• Experience in a large multi-site organization
• Additional South African language capability
