The role requires hands-on leadership, strong budgeting, stock controls, and the ability to travel regularly between locations. A relevant hospitality or business qualification is advantageous, and South African residency is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-site restaurant operations is essential.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and cost-control abilities are required.
• Proven ability to recruit, train and develop high-performing teams.
• Hands-on leader with focus on premium guest service and standards.
• Willingness to travel between Cape Town locations and South Africa outlets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and performance of multiple upscale restaurant outlets.
• Conduct regular site visits and provide practical support to managers.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, beverage service and guest care.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, labour, stock usage and profitability.
• Review reports and implement corrective actions when targets fail.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts and improvement plans.
• Drive sales, average spend and sustainable profitability across venues.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and team development.
• Coach management teams and promote accountability and service excellence.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company procedures.
• Monitor stock controls, ordering, cash handling and loss-prevention.
