Placements24 is seeking an experienced Hygiene Operations Manager in the Tembisa area of Gauteng to lead sanitation across multiple sites, develop strategies and manage budgets. You will build a high-performance team and ensure compliance with health regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a proactive approach to improving cleaning technologies and service delivery, with travel within Gauteng as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in sanitation or operations management.
• Experience leading large teams.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene practices and SA regulations.
• Budgeting and financial reporting experience.
• Willingness to travel within Gauteng.
• Driver's license and transport advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sanitation operations across multiple sites in Gauteng.
• Develop and implement hygiene SOPs.
• Mentor supervisors and cleaning staff.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Monitor audits and corrective actions.
• Manage procurement and inventory of supplies.
• Collaborate with clients and internal departments.
