You will oversee retail and business banking initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and represent the institution in the local community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., NQF Level 5 or higher in Banking) are advantageous.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in banking or financial services, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and service targets in a branch environment.
• Strong understanding of retail banking products, credit principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop teams.
• Proficiency in banking software and CRM systems.

Responsabilités

• Manage the overall operations and performance of the Mossel Bay branch, ensuring profitability and market share growth.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of branch staff, including financial advisors, tellers, and customer service representatives.
• Drive sales initiatives for retail and business banking products, achieving and exceeding targets.
• Ensure exceptional customer service standards are met and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
• Oversee branch compliance with banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Manage operational risks, including fraud prevention and security protocols.
