The role requires a strong track record in site management, excellent communication, and the ability to manage budgets while maintaining high standards. A relevant degree and 7+ years in construction are essential for consideration.

Qualifications

• Requires a National Diploma or Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years in construction management with 3+ years in site leadership.
• Proven track record delivering residential, commercial, or industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from initiation to completion.
• Develop and enforce detailed construction schedules to meet timelines.
• Control project costs and manage budgets with cost-saving measures.
• Supervise site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers for quality output.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Manage procurement and delivery of materials, equipment and labor.
• Maintain accurate site records including progress and financial documents.
