Job summary

IQVIA Tanzania is hiring a Country Manager to lead and grow the Molecular Diagnostics business with full commercial, operational, and people-management responsibility. The role requires deep knowledge of the local healthcare ecosystem and strong government and donor engagement.

You will design country-specific sales and market access strategies, lead a high-performing team, and ensure compliant, sustainable growth across public and private sectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in a senior commercial or country leadership role.
• At least 3–4 years’ proven people management experience.
• Strong healthcare, preferably IVD/Diagnostics market experience.
• Proven understanding of Tanzanian healthcare market and funding.
• Relationships with KOLs, labs and healthcare stakeholders are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Define Tanzania-specific strategy to profitably grow the Molecular Diagnostics business across public and private sectors.
• Lead commercial, operational and people management activities with P&L responsibility.
• Define and execute long-range strategic plans and sales tactics to hit revenue targets.
• Ensure operations comply with regulatory and ethical standards.
• Build relationships with government, funders, and donors; manage market access.
• Coach sales team, monitor KPIs, budgets, and performance.
