Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Country Manager to lead the Molecular Diagnostics business across Mozambique and the South East Africa region. The role includes full P&L, commercial leadership, and stakeholder engagement with MoH and funders to accelerate growth in both public and private sectors.

The successful candidate will demonstrate senior leadership, deep healthcare knowledge, and the ability to craft country-specific sales and growth strategies with strong financial oversight.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in a senior commercial or country leadership role.
• 3–4 years of proven people management experience.
• Strong understanding of public healthcare systems, MoH engagement, and funders.
• Proven track record in sales strategy development, execution, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a country-specific growth strategy for the Molecular Diagnostics business across public and private sectors.
• Lead the South East Africa commercial operations (Mozambique, Malawi, Angola, Zambia) with P&L responsibility.
• Oversee pricing, profitability, and long-term contract negotiations; support field teams as needed.
• Build relationships with MoH, government bodies, funders, and regulatory entities to enable funding and procurement.
• Develop leadership pipelines, succession plans, and performance cultures across the team.
