We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Plant Mechanic to join their dynamic operational team serving the Mahikeng, North West region. This hands‑on role is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of a diverse fleet of heavy‑duty construction and earthmoving equipment, including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and graders. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and general mechanics relevant to heavy plant machinery. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mobile Plant Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems in heavy machinery.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing complex faults in construction equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple sites.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
• Willingness to travel to various client sites within North West.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, to meet operational demands.
• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in heavy equipment mechanics are highly desirable.
