Job summary

Network Finance seeks an experienced technical sales professional to drive business development in South Africa's mining and industrial markets. You will engage engineers and senior management, secure new projects, and manage strategic accounts across SA and Africa.

The role requires 7+ years in technical sales, strong mining-industry knowledge, and a proven ability to grow revenue, with a valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively. Hazardous-area equipment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in technical sales, field sales or business development within mining, industrial or related technical markets.
• Strong knowledge of the South African mining industry.
• Proven success securing new customers, projects and revenue.
• Established relationships within mining, engineering, contracting, consulting or industrial markets.
• Ability to engage engineers, maintenance teams, production, procurement and senior management.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills.
• Experience managing an active sales pipeline and commercial forecasts.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly.
• Experience with hazardous-area / flameproof / Ex-certified equipment, electrical products, mining safety, automation or instrumentation will be highly advantageous.
