Formación

• A Master's degree or PMP certification is advantageous.
• Minimum of 8 years of project management experience, with a significant focus on projects within the mining or heavy industry sectors.
• Demonstrated experience managing technology implementation projects with budgets exceeding R8 million.
• Strong understanding of mining operational processes, automation, and digital transformation trends.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and familiarity with mining-specific software is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively on-site in a demanding operational environment.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory requirements in the mining sector.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of technology integration projects within mining operations.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource requirements, and budget management.
• Liaise with mine operations managers, engineers, IT specialists, and external technology providers.
• Oversee the implementation of new systems and technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for technology deployment projects.
• Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure projects adhere to safety regulations and operational standards within the mining industry.
• Facilitate training and adoption of new technologies by operational staff.
