Placements24 is seeking a Recruitment Business Partner to support key mining sector clients in Pretoria, Gauteng. This role combines strategic partnership with hands-on recruitment, guiding hiring managers through needs, preferences, and market realities to build effective talent strategies.

You will manage full-cycle recruitment for engineers, geologists, metallurgists, and operations staff, source scarce skills, assess candidates, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years in a full-cycle recruitment role.
• Experience in mining, resources, or heavy industry preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and client advisory skills.
• Proficiency with ATS and recruitment sourcing tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and business leaders within the mining sector to understand talent requirements and develop recruitment plans.
• Manage full recruitment lifecycle for engineers, geologists, metallurgists, operational staff, and management roles.
• Proactively source candidates using advanced search techniques and industry channels to identify scarce skills.
• Conduct thorough assessments, interviews, and reference checks to ensure quality and fit.
• Provide market intelligence on talent availability, compensation, and industry trends to clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with candidates and stakeholders to ensure a positive experience.
• Utilize ATS to manage requisitions, track progress, and maintain data integrity.
• Contribute to talent pipelining and workforce planning for key mining clients.
• Ensure compliance with recruitment policies and best practices.
