Job summary

Objective Personnel is seeking a candidate with a Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy degree to manage multi-disciplinary mining projects. The role requires understanding grinding mills and related equipment, with 2–5 years' industry experience and strong engineering fundamentals.

Periodic travel to neighbouring countries is possible. Applicants with a Project Management Qualification will have an advantage.

Qualifications

• Between 2 and 5 years of experience in the mining industry with multi-disciplinary engineering experience.
• Understand the mechanical components of grinding mills and other equipment and how these machines operate.
• Strong technical skills in engineering principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage own projects in accordance with company specifications and requirements.
• Oversee engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects and establish inspection criteria.
• Manage project cost, timing, scope, freight and site works.
• Understand the mechanical components of grinding mills and how these machines operate.
