Edgexec (Pty) Ltd in Johannesburg seeks a commercially sharp Business Development Manager and Licence Representative for mining guarantees. You will build relationships, structure deals, and drive a growing portfolio across SA and the wider African market.

In this front-office role you will engage with facility holders, brokers, and clients, manage quotes and onboarding with the underwriting team, and represent a regulated insurer with integrity and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Front-office experience in financial services or mining guarantees.
• FAIS-compliant with RE5 completed; a BCom or finance qualification is advantageous.
• Proven track record in business development and revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics in SA and Africa.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement with facility holders, policyholders, brokers across SA and Africa.
• Develop and execute market growth strategies aligned to divisional goals.
• Represent the division at events to deepen brand visibility and new channels.
• Manage broker relationships and strategic partnerships.
• Coordinate quotes and onboarding with underwriting team.
• Use portfolio data to identify trends and inform strategy.
• Contribute to facility structuring in risk appetite discussions.
• Explain terms and negotiate facility limits and pricing.
