Job summary

Schauenburg Systems seeks a technically skilled professional to install, repair, certify and support electronic systems for mining operations. You will set up, test and maintain equipment, perform safety-compliant work, troubleshoot issues, and assist with new projects on site.

The role requires 4 years in electronics and IT, knowledge of Advantage product, and strong computer skills. A valid driver’s license and own vehicle are essential for on-site assignments.

Qualifications

• 4 years' experience in electronics (hardware and software) and IT (hardware, networks and software).
• Knowledge of company product (Advantage).
• Good computer skills (Microsoft package).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, certify and provide technical support for electronic products and systems to high safety standards on mine sites.
• Set up and test units to meet specified requirements.
• Perform quality checks per company policy.
• Troubleshoot problems to identify root cause and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain electronic equipment and software per company standards and client scope of work.
• Report and record future maintenance needs.
• Assist with new projects and operations.
• Operate hand tools and small power tools; maintain housekeeping.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Liaise with on-site technical staff and customers to ensure quality and safety; meet contractual obligations.
• Provide regular updates to supervisor and coordinators; contribute to documentation.
• Adhere to customer safety regulations and perform risk assessments before tasks; ensure medical inductions are valid.
• Demonstrate organization, problem solving, interpersonal skills, and ability to work with clients and team.
